Defaults Page

Columns default values are specified using the source database SQL language and sometimes they need to be converted to the target database format. If the source database contains columns with default values, the following page is displayed for the user to edit them.

In this case, the Northwind Access database has a non-standard default value on the "Dicontinued" column of the "Products" table. The value "=No" is not recognized by the SQL Compact query processor and failing to correct this will cause an error when exporting the database. To correct this value click it on the list:

The "New value" edit box is enabled so you can enter a new and correct value ("0" in this case):

Now you can click the "Next" button and start the data transfer process.
