RapiInvoke failed error

When you receive a RapiInvoke failed error (or an error with similar wording), your desktop client application failed to connect to the device component. This may be due to the following reasons:

  1. Using a RAPI disabled Windows Mobile 5.0 device
  2. Automatic installation of the device component (RemSqlCe.dll) failed

To solve the above problems do the following:

  1. Read the Enabling RAPI connections article.
  2. Go to your application's setup directory (typically in C:\Program Files\Primeworks\XXX, where XXX is your application) and manually copy the RemSqlCe.dll file to the device's \Windows directory and try again.

If these fail to solve your problem, please contact us using the support email.
