Data Port Sync

Synchronize Microsoft Access ® databases with either SQL CE 2.0 or SQL Mobile databases from within your application. Data Port Sync is a desktop .NET 2.0 component that extends DesktopSqlCe to add database synchronization features.

Synchronization Features
Data Port Sync includes a number of very cool synchronization features, such as:

• IDENTITY partitioning - AutoNumber columns are managed in such a way that clashes are avoided with the device database IDENTITY columns.
• FOREIGN KEY ordering - The data synchronization process obeys the database constraints so that no spurious errors are generated when inserting, updating or deleting data.
• Multiple client support - You can correctly synchronize data with multiple PDAs.
• Device database agnostic - Don't worry about the device database version: SQL Mobile and SQL CE 2.0 are supported.

Licensing and Pricing
Data Port Sync is licensed on a per-developer basis. Applications generated with this component can be freely distributed (royalty-free). Please see the Data Port Sync License Agreement. The price of each developer license is USD $249.95.

Trial period
Applications generated with Data Port Sync will work for 90 days before a license is required.

Requirements
Data Port Sync is an add-on to DesktopSqlCe and requires that this product is installed in your development PC. Data Port Sync does not work as a standalone component.
