SQL Compact 4.0 CTP1Monday, July 12, 2010Microsoft has just released SQL Compact 4.0 CTP1 version which can be downloaded from the Microsoft Download Center. Primeworks is committed to the continued support of SQL Compact and has released a new preview version of Data Port Console (1.8.6200.57). This new version of Data port Console provides basic support for SQL Compact 4.0 CTP1 (engine support for database maintenance is still missing). You can also find some new features like setting row order when exporting or importing data (via indexes or ORDER BY clauses) and the new ability to reorder table columns in the table design view. Please note that this is not yet a formal update to the current version.
